Happy Holidays – and our year end edition of The Gardenzette!

Hello! Rock Spring Garden Club had a very productive year, despite the pandemic related demands all NGC garden club members have confronted over these past several months. Despite our country’s travails, our club has continued to function for it’s members and our community.  We welcomed new members, our committees continue to actively partner with Arlington County Public Schools, we are supporting our seniors through outreach, our members are out there tending community gardens and we are finally safely meeting again together and enjoying wonderful programs with speakers and topics that are current and important to our members and our community.

To continue our community outreach, we had a fantastic holiday pumpkin sale, exceeding our expectations in terms of sales.  A big thank you to ALL our club members and our customers for working together to promote our garden club’s mission.

It’s important to remember that everything we do supports the mission/objectives of our club:  to stimulate the study of the art of gardening; to further an interest in horticulture and artistic arrangement of plant material; conserve and protect our natural resources and support good conservation practices; and serve our community by participating in garden therapy, youth gardening activities, civic beautification, horticulture and floral design education, and community outreach.

From our Club to all of you, we wish you a blessed, safe, and joyful holiday season.  Here’s a link to our latest edition of our Club’s newsletter, The Gardenzette.  This month’s edition is bigger than usual – because we’ve been pretty busy.  Enjoy! click here The Gardenzette-December 2021-Public
