Our next general meeting is March 19 starting at 10:00 a.m.   Free and open to the public.  We meet at Little Falls Presbyterian Church Lower Level Friendship Hall, 6025 Little Falls Road, Arlington, VA 22207.  Our program is Native Gardening in the Landscape Design. Maureen Robinson and Lynley Ogilvie will enlighten us on strategies for incorporating native plants in our yards. We rely on pollinators to foster the plants that beautify our surroundings, but habitat that sustains them becomes more limited with construction and use of pesticides.

Our November meeting will be busy. In addition to our monthly horticulture and design exhibits, we have a Way and Means table full of interesting items and floral supplies – lots of stocking stuffers and gifts at this month’s table,  Our speaker this month is Master Gardener, Joe Larson, who will give us the dirt-less scoop on the world of Hydroponics.  

Our meeting begins with coffee at social time at 9:30 a.m., followed by a short business meeting.  Then our Program followed by a yummy lunch,  Join us!

Arlene will demonstrate floral designs and focus on clever mechanics. Thursday, March 20, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – You’re invited to join us for our March meeting and program.  The topic is Spring Ephemerals. Our guest speaker is Carol Allen, Agent Associate at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Maryland.
